Logistical Support for Rule of Law, Citizen Security, and Law Enforcement Projects in Guatemala

As part of a regional platform, INL supports the travel of partner-nation personnel to attend trainings both internally and in other countries, furthering the sharing of best practices.

In support of this capacity-building work, and to accelerate implementation of training through travel, INL

credit:


seeks to award a cooperative agreement for capacity-building training, travel, and logistics support tied to specific INL projects in Guatemala that cover capacity enhancement of law enforcement entities, improved border management, counter narcotics efforts, strengthening of the justice sector, improve prison management as well as support for vetted units managed by US law enforcement entities.

The award recipient will provide programmatic, logistical, and administrative support to the capacity building programs of INL Guatemala.

The U. S. government estimates that a minimum of 8,000 and a maximum of 15,000 people will attend INL capacity-building events in a twelve-month period.
