The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) through the Marine Minerals Program (MMP) is offering a cooperative agreement opportunity to conduct research in topics that serve the public interest of offshore sand resources, beach nourishment, coastal recovery, and coastal resiliency, and meet the goals
of the MMP.
This funding is available to East Coast state entities; one state entity will receive funding per state.
The Program is tasked with leasing Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) areas for extraction of non-energy resources.
The MMP specializes in collaboration, support, and management of OCS sand and mineral resources while safeguarding the environment.
