MBDA Women’s Entrepreneurship Program

The MBDA Women’s Entrepreneurship Program (Program or WEP) is designed to improve the entrepreneurial outcomes of MBEs, including entrepreneurs at all stages of business development, from ideation to established businesses.

While MBDA encourages applicants to include in their proposal services

credit:


that address barriers traditionally experienced by women entrepreneurs, all MBEs are eligible to receive services under this Program.

This notice requests applications from qualified organizations that have the expertise to provide a range of services including counseling, training, and technical assistance to launch, sustain, obtain capital for, and scale their ventures.

Additional Information of Eligibility:
The organization must be a private nonprofit organization as described in paragraph (3), (4), (5), or (6) of section 501(c) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 and exempt from tax under section 501(a); andThe organization must provide – as a primary activity of the organization – services to minority business enterprises, whether through education, making grants or loans, or other similar activities.
