funds.

Sexual violence impacts hundreds of thousands of women, men, and children each year.

Survivors deserve trauma-informed support and responses from community-based victim services providers, law enforcement, prosecutors, courts, medical staff, and other professionals.

OVW believes it is imperative to provide frequent and sufficient training, resources, and technical assistance to those working with sexual assault survivors.

As part of that effort, OVW identified the following two initiatives to support and advance training and technical assistance:
1) To provide scholarships that support victim advocate attendance at the National Sexual Assault Conference (NSAC).

2) To provide training and technical assistance and support on addressing sexual assault to victim service providers law enforcement, prosecutors, courts, and medical and other professionals.
