implement effective Anti-money Laundering and Counter Terrorist Finance (AML/CFT) compliance programs consistent with international standards and Financial Action Task Force (FATF) recommendations.

The primary objective of the project is to ensure that entities with high risks of money laundering in El Salvador are closely monitored and supervised.

The project aims to facilitate the implementation of effective risk-based AML/CFT (Anti-Money Laundering/Combating the Financing of Terrorism) compliance programs that are in line with the best practices in the industry.

By adopting these measures, the project seeks to prevent and detect instances of money laundering in the country.
