The goal of this project is to further develop and distribute satellite-derived growing season and snow season metrics to support natural resource management and visitor education in Alaska¿s national parks.

Objectives of Phase I of this project are to (1) produce publicly-available, annual

satellite-derived growing season and snow season metrics for resource management, scientific applications and visitor education; and (2) collaboratively explore open-source, web-based tools to streamline data processing and seasonal metrics development.
