Developing Virtual Visitor Experience for Galle Fort

Executive Summary The Public Affairs Section of the U. S. Embassy in Colombo “PAS Colombo”) is pleased to announce a call for proposals through the Public Diplomacy Grants program.

PAS Colombo’s purpose in funding projects under this opportunity is to enable non-governmental


organizations and educational institutions, in partnership with a Sri Lankan institution, to develop and implement Augmented Reality visual experiences for Galle Fort in Sri Lanka.

PAS Colombo invites all eligible organizations (see Eligibility Requirements in Section C) to submit proposals for such a project, as specified in this NOFO.

In response to this announcement, organizations may submit ONLY ONE proposal.

Based on funding availability, the award ceiling for this project is $250,000 with project duration of a minimum of twelve (12) months up to eighteen (18) months.

Additional Information of Eligibility:
All U. S. and Sri Lankan registered non-profit, non-governmental organizations and U. S. and Sri Lankan universities are encouraged to apply.

Any relevant experience must be documented in the organization’s proposal.

Organizations must provide proof of registration and non-profit status with their proposal application.

U.S.-based organizations should submit a copy of their IRS determination letter.
