L-1 Diversion Dam Elimination on the Lemhi River, Lemhi Subbasin

TU’s efforts will carry out the public purpose of funding projects that will lead to stream habitat improvements within the Upper Salmon Region, Lemhi Subbasin (Subbasin) which will benefit anadromous fisheries.

Benefits include, but are not limited to:
improved access to spawning and

credit: Florida Today


rearing habitat; reduced entrainment; increased streamflow; improved fish passage; and improved habitat quantity and quality for native endangered fish species including spring chinook salmon, steelhead trout, and bull trout.
