TEACHER-CITIZEN PARTICIPATION PROJECT

USAID Honduras is seeking applications from eligible and qualified U. S. and Non-U. S. Non-Governmental Organizations for funding to implement the second phase of USAID support in the Honduran program entitled “Education for All–Fast Track Initiative (EFA-FTI)”, which provides quality basic education

for all children, youth and adults.

With this second phase of support, a new and critical purpose that cuts across all USAID education sector efforts will be to strengthen non-governmental, community, civic and parental participation in support of education in Honduras.

USAID seeks to greatly increase efforts that will build communities’ abilities to demand quality education and give them tools to become involved in schools, both in management and pedagogical efforts.
