Optimizing Health of Children and Adolescents with Perinatal HIV Exposure (U19 Clinical Trial Optional)

This Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) invites applications to participate in a research program cooperative agreement to support theOptimizing Health of Children and Adolescents with Perinatal HIV Exposure Initiative.

The objective of this NOFO is to generate information needed to develop


and to test interventions for the early detection and reduction of long-term effects of in utero/perinatal exposure toantiretroviral therapy (ART) and/or HIV among individuals who are HIV exposed but uninfected (IHEU).Investigators with innovative thinking and new approaches to address the public health issues facing IHEUs are encouraged to apply.
