Data for Jurisdictional Sourcing: Spurring Jurisdictional Approaches and REDD+ Action

This program is a cooperative agreement that will support the utilization of jurisdictional sourcing approaches to reduce supply chain linked-deforestation by improving relevant data and information at a subnational, jurisdictional scale.

Subnational governments and other relevant actors often

lack the technical capacity and systems to collect relevant agricultural, social, and environmental data that directly hinder their engagement in and implementation of jurisdictional sourcing approaches.

This program will support the development of technical capacity and systems for identifying, collecting, and managing relevant information and data in order to engage in international commodity sourcing programs including the Commodities Jurisdictions Approach (CJA), Verified Sourcing Area (VSA), or LandScale.
