FY 2022 Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program

The U. S. Study Abroad Branch within the Office of Global Educational Programs of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) announces an open competition to administer the FY 2022 Benjamin A.

Gilman International Scholarship Program (hereinafter referred to as the “Gilman Program”).

U.


S. public and private academic and cultural institutions, exchange-of-persons, and other not-for-profit organizations meeting the provisions described in Internal Revenue Code section 26 USC 501(c)(3) may submit proposals for the purpose of administering a scholarship program for credit-bearing academic study or internships outside the United States by U. S. undergraduate students with demonstrated financial need.

Applicants may submit only one proposal under this competition.

If multiple proposals are received from the same applicant, all submissions will be declared ineligible and receive no further consideration in the review process.
