Announcement for Program Funding for NRCS’ Conservation Innovation Grants (CIG) for Federal Fiscal Year (FY) 2020 – Montana

NRCS is announcing the availability of CIG to stimulate the development and adoption of innovative conservation approaches and technologies.

Applications are accepted from eligible entities for projects carried out in the state of Montana.

A total of up to $225,000 is available for the

Montana CIG competition in FY 202 0. All non-federal entities (NFE) and individuals are invited to apply, with the sole exception of federal agencies.

Projects may be between one and three years in duration.

The maximum award amount for a single award in FY 2020 is $75,00 0. Proposals must be received by 11:59 p.m.

Eastern Standard Time on June 22, 202 0. Application receipt date and time will be determined by the respective system-generated documentation of receipt date and time (grants.gov provides date and time stamps for all proposals submitted through the portal).

The applicant assumes the risk of any delays in application receipt.
