This Cooperative Agreement will focus on a rivercane restoration study at the Robert S.

Kerr Lock and Dam and Reservoir.

See attached SOO for this information.Goals and ObjectivesFor this work, the TNTCX is interested in advancing rivercane science and restoration at the project site, testing implementation of water management and/or land management practices that promote rivercane restoration, and ultimately incorporating those environmental strategies into a SOP or other appropriate guidance document(s).

This includes genetic testing of local rivercane populations to inform population viability and advance understanding of canebrake habitat variability.
