Every Day Counts Innovation Initiatives - Request for Information

Michael SaundersThe Federal Highway Administration, also known as FHWA, is an agency that is operating within the United States Department of Transportation.
The FHWA's primary responsibility revolves around highway administration. The agency has two major programs, the Federal-aid Highway Program and the Federal Lands Highway Program.
The work of the agency is guided by its mission which is to to "improve mobility on our Nation's highways through national leadership, innovation, and program delivery."
In keeping with this mission, the Federal Highway Administration has recently constituted the Every Day Counts Innovation Initiatives project wherein they intend to solicit information from all eligible sources regarding innovations and advances that will potentially transform the way people will do business.
The project generally seeks to gather information concerning strategies that could potentially shorten project delivery days, enhance the safety of roadways, and at the same time protect the environment.
