The grants and initiatives of the ETA are all commonly geared towards the realization of its primary agency vision which is to "promote pathways to economic liberty for individuals and families working to achieve the American Dream."
With this, the Employment and Training Administration has recently announced the constitution of the Workforce Data Quality Initiative Program in an attempt to initiate grant applications from State Workforce Agencies (SWA).
In essence, the Workforce Data Quality Initiative Program seeks to employ State Workforce Agencies to create databases that will be referred to as "workforce longitudinal administrative databases" or "workforce longitudinal databases."
The state longitudinal data systems that will be created by the SWAs under this program will be contain information on programs that are all designed to provide training, employment services, and unemployment insurance information.
