Buncombe County Government Applies for a $100,000 Grant

The Buncombe County Government applies for a $100,000 worth of state grant for funding of their mountainside park project.


However, the state grant application got denied because the county Parks, Greenways and Recreation Services Department does not have the money for the proposed budget plan. The state grant was supposed to be used for building parking lots and installing gates and sign boards for the park.
