McDonnell Announces $1 Million Matching Grants to Local Tourism Programs

Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell announces nearly $1 million in matching grants which will be awarded to 54 local tourism initiatives.

The grant is part of Virginia Tourism Corporation's Marketing Leverage Grant program. It will assist local and regional tourism projects to attract more visitors by influencing local marketing funds, and will subsequently impact over 200 other tourism initiatives across the state.
