Overlook Medical Center Goes Green

Agency - New Jersey Clean Program

The New Jersey Clean Program awarded Overlook Medical Center with a $1 million grant last June 2011. The grant will be used to begin construction of its tri-generation energy system which will be located on its campus.


The new installation will increase the center's energy efficiency, reduce cost, and remove carbon dioxide emissions by 10,891 tons per year; thus, reducing carbon footprint.
