Parks and Recreation Trust Fund Hands Out $150,000 for Riverfront Park Plans

Agency - North Carolina Parks and Recreation Trust Fund

The North Carolina Parks and Recreation Trust Fund grants $150,000 awards in Swain County to implement plans for a riverfront park behind the courthouse in Bryson City.


The grant will help create a landscaped town park on the Tuckaseegee banks where people can unwind and access the water. Funds will be used to acquire recreational amenities such as picnic tables, lighting, parking lot and even a fishing pier.
