SoBo Project Missed Out on Grant Funding

The Town of South Boston's Washington-Coleman Housing Project missed out on state grant funding of $6.8 million for 11 projects chosen for Community Development Block Grant.

The township had applied for up to $1 million to promote housing conditions for homes inhabited by low and moderate-income individuals and families. The project’s agenda includes housing rehabilitation, demolition, cleanup and rebuilding.
