State Grant to Fund Building of Splash Pad

Northern Wasco County Parks and Recreation District has won a $99,305 Oregon State Parks grant to construct a splash pad at Thompson Park.

The splash pad is estimated to be between 1,800 and 2,000 square feet. The grant will also cover costs of recirculating water systems, equipment, and bathhouse renovations among others.
