2) The process of identifying rare opportunities for the integration of health and human services in certain rural policies, programs, and in the assessment of local community context.

3) The process of determining opportunities that will potentially manifest the general community impact of the policies and programs in terms of health and human services.

4) The process of providing a comprehensive analysis of policies and regulations that will certainly help highlight the positive impacts of these programs to the respective rural health systems and rural communities.

With this, the HRSA is set to administer funds in the amount of $225,000 to support the Rural Policy Analysis Program.

The following institutions and organizations will be deemed eligible to submit an application under the program:

a) Higher Education Institutions such as Public/State Controlled Institutions of Higher Education and Private Institutions of Higher Education

b) Hispanic-serving Institutions, Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), Tribally Controlled Colleges and Universities (TCCUs), Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian Serving Institutions

c) Nonprofit organizations other than institutions of higher education

d) For-Profit Organizations such as Small Businesses

e) State Governments, County Governments, City or Township Governments, Special District Governments, Indian/Native American Tribal Governments (Federally Recognized), and Indian/Native American Tribal Governments (Other than Federally Recognized)

All of the institutions stated above will be eligible as long as they can demonstrate and verify their experience in identifying emerging rural health issues.
