Construction and Deployment of Pontoon Barge Mounted Vertical PIT Antennas in the Yakama River Basin, WA

Through this cooperative agreement, Reclamation and Recipient will cost share the fabrication and deployment of a vertical Passive Integrated Transponder (PIT) detection antenna array, supported by a pontoon barge, in the Yakama River.

to detect out-migrating juvenile salmonids that may be moving in the upper portions of the water column with minimal/no impact to threatened and endangered species or human activities (such as recreation).
