The Department of State, Office of Weapons Removal and Abatement (PM/WRA) is pleased to announce a competitive process for Fiscal Year 2013 funding for victims? assistance programs in Afghanistan.

PM/WRA invites interested applicant organizations with proven experience in providing victims?


assistance to Persons with Disabilities (PWD) populations to submit their proposals by December 07, 201 2. Applicant organizations must be accredited and licensed with the Mine Action Coordination Center for Afghanistan (MACCA).

Pending fiscal year 2013 appropriations, PM/WRA anticipates awarding a grant of up to $3,000,00 0. U.S.-based and foreign non-profit and non-governmental organizations (NGO), and public international organizations (PIO), and institutions of higher education are encouraged to apply by submitting a proposal.

All proposals must be submitted via www.grantsolutions.gov OR www.grants.gov by 5:00 p.m.

Eastern Standard Time (EST) on Friday, Dec ember 21, 201 2. Following a competitive review panel, one proposal will be approved for funding.
