Dear Prospective Applicants,The United States Agency for International Development Mission in Burundi (USAID/Burundi) seeksapplications from qualified entities to implement a five-year activity that focuses on gender basedviolence in Burundi, titled “Mpore (Be well)”, as further described


in Section A of this Notice of FundingOpportunity (NOFO).

Eligibility for this award is restricted to Burundian local organizations.USAID/Burundi intends to make a single award to the applicant who best meets the objectives of thisfunding opportunity based on the merit review criteria described in Section E of this NOFO subject to arisk assessment in accordance with ADS 30 3. 3. 9. Eligible parties interested in submitting an applicationare encouraged to thoroughly read this NOFO to understand the type of activity sought, applicationsubmission requirements and selection process.

While an award is anticipated as a result of this NOFO,USAID/Burundi reserves the right to fund any or none of the applications submitted.
