Fiscal Year 2014 Pollution Prevention Grant Program

EPA releases Pollution Prevention (P2) grant funds to states and tribal government entities to deliver technical assistance and training to businesses.

The intent of this effort is to assist state and tribal governments to encourage businesses to adopt environmental strategies and solutions that

significantly reduce or eliminate waste from the source.

EPA anticipates it will award approximately $ 4. 1 million in program funding during Fiscal Year (FY) 2014 to states and tribes.

P2 grants will be awarded in the form of grants and/or cooperative agreements.

All awards will be issued and managed by EPA’s Regional Pollution Prevention Program Offices (herein referred to as the Regions).

The amount of grant funding available is dependent upon Congressional appropriation and the quality of proposals received.

In the world of social enterprises, failure is a cringe-worthy moment nobody wants to talk about. But, social entrepreneurs can benefit from their failures.
