Creative Forces NEA Military Healing Arts Network (Clinical Component)

Creative Forces:
NEA Military Healing Arts Network is an initiative of the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with the U. S. Departments of Defense and Veterans Affairs.

The mission of Creative Forces is to improve the health, well-being, and quality of life for military and veteran


populations exposed to trauma, as well as their families and caregivers, by increasing knowledge of and access to clinical creative arts therapies and community arts engagement.

The purpose of this program solicitation is to select an organization (Cooperator) to manage the Clinical component of the Creative Forces program (the Clinical Program) through a cooperative agreement.

Activities will advance health and well-being at Creative Forces Clinical Sites.

The Cooperative Agreement resulting from this program solicitation can start no earlier than March 1, 2025 and may extend for up to 24 months.

An organization may submit only one proposal under this program solicitation.

*Who May Submit Proposals: Proposals may only be submitted by the following: - <span>Institutions of Higher Education (IHEs) - Two- and four-year IHEs (including community colleges) accredited in, and having a campus located in the US, acting on behalf of their faculty members.</span> *Who May Serve as PI: The Principal Investigator must hold a terminal degree in a STEM discipline, Education, STEM Education, or a related field.
