The Public Affairs Section of the U. S. Embassy in Islamabad announces an open competition for a cooperative agreement for the conversion of selected analog recordings of the Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation into digital format, and provide for long-term preservation and end-user access.

Digital Archive project encompasses planning, implementation, and staff training for the conversion of selected analog recordings into digital format and provides for long-term preservation and end-user access.

Eligibility is limited to U. S. not-for-profit organizations or educational institutions subject to 501(c)(3) of the tax code, U. S. commercial firms, Pakistan non-governmental organizations registered with the Government of Pakistan, or Pakistan-based commercial firms.

The Department encourages organizations that have not previously received international program funding from the U. S. Government to apply under this announcement.

Applicants must have a demonstrated expertise in project management, radio and/or digital archive experience.
