Flagstaff Scores $6 Million State Grant to Buy Trust Land

Flagstaff receives a $6 million state grant to purchase nearby state trust property to keep it as open space as possible in keeping light pollution clear of Lowell Observatory.


The city will use money from a voter-approved $5.5 million bond issue to match the grant approved by the state parks board.
