Scott Park Uses State Grant to Lower Sewer Fees

Officials of Scott Twp. will use a state grant to fund its long-awaited project that could diminish monthly sewer fees and generate opportunities for the community to attract new businesses.


The state funds are valued at $275,000, which will provide financial assistance and resources to shut down the wastewater treatment plant at the Scott Technology Park and restore it with a gravity sewer line connecting it to the community’s public sanitary sewer system.
