Sidewalk Project Gets Boost from State Grant

A Bay Point sidewalk project will get the ball rolling through a state grant funding.


The design budget is $90,000 and the construction budget is $810,000. Both will be funded through a Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) safety grant. The new sidewalk will be a "multiuse path on one side of the road", according to Keith Bryant, Bay County traffic engineering manager.
