Tauranga Community Receives State Grant for Affordable Housing

The Tauranga Community Housing Trust receives a $1.7 million state grant to pump the level of affordable housing to make them more suitable for people with disabilities.


Eight units are to be moved to another site and 14 new units would be built in its place. Most of the units will be wheelchair-accessible. The tenants will pay income related rental fees to suit their housing needs.
