Troup County Taps Into State Grant for DUI/Drug Court Program

Troup County commissioners has recently given the thumbs up on recruiting a a coordinator for the county’s DUI/drug court program.


The rehabilitation program is funded by a $72,257 grant for the prevention of repeat offenders. The funds are allocated to cover the costs of the program coordinator’s salary for a year as well as expenses for drug testing equipment, office supplies and a new set of computer and printer for the coordinator.
