Vermont Rural Ventures, Inc. (VRV) is a partnership between four Vermont-based, statewide community development organizations: Housing Vermont, a non-profit real estate development and tax credit syndicator; the Vermont Economic Development Authority; the Vermont Housing Finance Agency; and the Vermont Community Development Loan Fund, a certified CDFI. VRV will provide financing for real estate and business ventures that will provide economic and community benefits primarily for rural communities and low-income persons living or working in rural Vermont. With its NMTC allocation, VRV will provide technical expertise and support, as well as access to capital with below-market interest rates and more flexible terms.
