Additional Information of Eligibility:
This is NOT a request for applications; this is an announcement that an award has already been designated for the Rivers of Steel National Heritage Area for their work to: 1.

Develop and implement projects associated with the Management Plan in accordance with the terms of the Agreement and the Legislation as described in Attachment A – FY14 Work Plan and Budget.

2.

Conduct public meetings at least semi-annually regarding the implementation of the Management Plan.

3.

Include units of local government, regional planning organizations, and nonprofit organizations in implementing projects from the management plan.

4.

Comply with all applicable State and Federal laws, including, but not limited to, National Environmental Policy Act and the National Historic Preservation Act.

5.

Prepare compliance documents for NPS and/or State approval.
