In support of these shared objectives, USAID/India has planned an in-person Local Partners Resource Day in New Delhi, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Chennai and Lucknow to highlight shared priorities, and present USAID plans for current and/or future activities in various sectors in hopes of expanding local Indian partnerships.

USAID/India cordially invites local Indian organizations to an In-Person Local Partners Resource Day (Venue will be provided via individual invitation).

Locations and tentative dates for Local Partners Resource Day are provided below (any changes to the below schedule will be announced accordingly):

Clean Energy, Environmental, Forestry, Sustainable Landscapes, and adaptation, Biodiversity, Health (Family Planning/Reproductive Health, Maternal and Child Health, Polio, Tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS), Water Supply, Sanitation and Hygiene, Education, Tibet Resilience, Digital Preservation of Documents, Disaster Risk Reduction, and Monitoring and Evaluation.

Participation is limited to 100 participants, therefore, only ONE slot per organization will be allotted and reservations will be given to the first 100 respondents.

However, organizations may propose up to TWO people, identifying the order of priority for the two proposed individuals.

The second proposed individual will be placed on a waiting list, and her/his invitation to attend will be confirmed separately by USAID.

HOW TO SIGN-UP FOR LOCAL PARTNERS RESOURCE DAY:
Organization/firm interested in attending the Local Partners Resource Day must send:
Name of Organization Name of attendee(s) – No more than 2 (Please identify the participants’ names in the order of priority) Type of work/services the organization provides; and Location of Interest Please provide the above details AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, NO LATER THAN the “RSVP Due Date” provided above.

The requested information must be submitted via email to Mr. Dev Kant Sharma at desharma@usaid.gov and Ms. Bhawna Chadha at bchadha@usaid.gov.

The E-mail Subject line must include “Request to Attend Local Partners Resource Day - DATE.” NOTE:
There is NO Registration Fee for the event(s).

The USAID team will be providing an official notification/participation confirmation to all the selected participants via email along with the Venue details, prior to the event.

NOTE:
USAID will not reimburse participants for any expenses associated with their participation in this Local Partners Resource Day.

Additional Information of Eligibility:
• Applicants must be alumni of a U. S. government-funded or sponsored exchange program or a U. S. government-sponsored exchange program (https://j1visa.state.gov/).

• Projects teams must include teams of at least two (2) alumni.

• Alumni who are U. S. citizens may not submit proposals, but U. S. citizen alumni may participate as team members in a project.• Alumni teams may be comprised of alumni from different exchange programs and different countries.

• Applications must be submitted by exchange alumni or alumni associations of USG exchange alumni.

No other organizations are eligible to apply.

Exchange alumni can partner with not-for-profit or non-governmental organizations, think tanks, and academic institutions to implement project activities.

The grant can be issued to the individual alumni or the partner organization.
