Bophelo Bo Botle activity is intended to support the Government of Lesotho (GOL) to improvehealth outcomes through the delivery high-quality integrated people-centered prevention, care andtreatment services that will sustain HIV and TB epidemic control and reduce morbidity & mortality frompreventable communicable & non-communicable diseases, including emerging public health threats inthe districts of Maseru, Thaba Tseka, Mafeteng, and Mohale's Hoek.

Bophelo Bo Botle activity is alignedto the USAID/Southern Africa Regional Development Strategy, the PEPFAR 5X3 strategic framework forending AIDS by 2030, and the new GOL National Health Sector Strategic Plans.

Inter-partnercoordination with existing PEPFAR above-site implementing partners, other donor-funded programs,local faith and community-based organizations, and other local stakeholder is critical for programsuccess.This activity will focus on three main overarching strategic priorities:a.

Optimizing Clinical Service Delivery to improve access, quality, and utilization of integrated healthservices at the facility and community levels using a primary health care approach.b.

Health systems strengthening support at district, facility, and community levels.c.

Sustaining Local Capacity:
Technical Assistance to enhance local capacity, ownership andgovernance frameworks that sustain enabling policy environments, transparency, accountability,and resource mobilization.Target populations are children, adolescents, youth, adults, pregnant and breastfeeding women, keypopulations, and communities in the Bophelo Bo Botle focus districts.

Secondary target populations arehealth service providers at facility & community levels, private sector, faith- & community-basedorganizations, and policy makers at national and sub-national levels.
