GARDEN HIGHWAY MUTUAL WATER COMPANY FISH SCREEN PROJECT

The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) intends to issue a cooperative agreement to Family Water Alliance under the authority of Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) P.L.

3406 (b)(21) Fish, Wildlife and Habitat Restoration.

Total amount of agreement is $ 2. 3M with Reclamation providing $ 1. 1M in Federal Funds, [$500,000 to be obligated in Fiscal Year 2017].

The purpose of the project is to install a fish screen system at the Garden Highway Mutual Water Company (GHMWC) Fish Screen Project located on the Feather River in Sutter County.

Project implementation will include development, design, manufacturing, installation, monitoring and adjustments of a fish screen system suitable for this priority diversion.

A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed financial assistance agreement based upon Departmental Manual 505 DM 2, paragraph 2. 14 (B)(4) is solely within the discretion of the Government.

This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals.
