Enhanced Acoustic Tagging, Analysis, and Real-Time Monitoring of Wild and Hatchery Salmonids in the Sacramento River Valley

The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) intends to issue a cooperative agreement to University of California, Santa Cruz under the authority of Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) 1 5. 512, Central Valley Project Improvement Act, Public Law 102-575, Section 3406(b)(16) and 3407(e).

total amount of agreement is$1,987,65 4. 0 0. Reclamation is providing $942,26 5. 00 in Fiscal Year 201 8. This additional funding will continue the following objectives for Water Year 2019:
Objective #1:
Deploy and service field monitoring acoustic telemetry stations at locations important to fish and water management Objective #2:
Implant, transport, and release acoustically tagged juvenile ESA-listed wild and hatchery juvenile salmonids Objective #3:
Support production and development of new metrics for understanding the survival, distribution, and entrainment of juvenile salmonid along the Sacramento River and its floodways, as well as, the Bay-Delta (Refer to the Notice of Intent to Award Announcement No.

BOR-MP-18-N037 for additional information) A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed financial assistance based upon Departmental Manual 505 DM 2, paragraph 2. 14(B)(2) & (4) is solely within the discretion of the Government.
