Suisun Marsh Preservation Agreement

The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) intends to issue a Cooperative Agreement to California Department of Water Resources under the authority of Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) 1 5. 563, Public Law 99-546, Title II – Suisun Marsh Preservation Act, Section 201-20 4. Estimated

credit:


total amount of agreement is $15,448,96 2. This project will provide the following:
(1)fulfill commitments in the 2015 Suisun Marsh Preservation Agreement; (2) maintain water quality and quantity and improve wetland habitat in Suisun Marsh to mitigate the adverse effects on the Marsh of the Central Valley Project (CVP) and a portion of the adverse effects of the upstream diversions; and (3) improve Marsh wildlife habitat to the extent that such improvement is compatible with other CVP and State Water Project purposes.

BOR-MP-19-N018 for additional information) A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed financial assistance based upon Departmental Manual 505 DM 2, paragraph 2. 14(B)(4) is solely within the discretion of the Government.
