This announcement is to provide public notice of the Bureau of Reclamation’s intention to fund the following project activities without full and open competition.

The objective of this agreement is to encourage the cooperative,

working relationship between Reclamation and Ecology by providing shared funding to have an Ecology employee facilitate the cooperation and communication of both agencies, and implement the related work of mutual interest to the agencies to further the goals of the YRBWEP.

Simply stated, these goals are to improve the availability of water supplies for irrigation and to protect and enhance fish and wildlife resources, including wetlands, while improving the quality of water in the Yakima River basin.
