Technical Assistance Towards Strengthening Faith Based Organizations (FBOs) in Achieving Comprehensive HIV/AIDS/TB/STI Prevention, Care and Treatment Services in Zambia under the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR)

The Award Ceiling for Year 1 is 0 (none).

CDC anticipates an Approximate Total Fiscal Year Funding amount of $5,000,000 for Year 1, subject to the availability of funds.

This technical assistance (TA) NOFO will focus on the provision of TA to difficult to reach communities, including rural

communities and faith communities, around faith-based facilities across CDC-supported provinces covering the continuum of services from HIV prevention, case finding, treatment to retention and client monitoring.

The recipient will also provide technical support for linkage to the community primarily through community posts (CP) to ensure the initial stem of the CP model is not compromised.

The recipient will also provide support for other HIV related programs and hard to reach and rural communities through faith facilities including TB, cervical cancer, and other HIV related opportunistic infections.

The recipient will provide TA for data, financial and administrative management, laboratory services and human resources for health (HRH) at faith-based facilities as well.

The recipient will also ensure that direct service delivery (DSD) faith-based services implementing partners (IPs) meet quality standards at all faith-based health facilities (HF) and affiliated CPs.
