Preserving Cultural Heritage and Promoting Religious Freedom and Tolerance in the Pacific Islands

The U. S. Department of State announces an open competition for organizations to submit applications to increase capacity of civil society to promote freedom of religion or belief and inter-religious cooperation in the Pacific Islands region.

This program will reduce the vulnerability of Pacific


Island countries to disinformation, false narratives, and efforts by foreign actors from countries with severe violations of religious freedom and will achieve these outcomes by engaging with established opinion leaders, such as religious actors.
