Clay Phacelia Herbivory Protection

The project funds recovery implementation in the historically largest population of clay phacelia that has now declined to 4 plants.

Work includes additional site visits to protect plants from herbivory, summarizing wildlife camera footage to quantify herbivory and herbivore presence, and plant

credit:


survival monitoring.

These recovery activities address preventing extinction in the wild.

Partners include The Nature Conservancy, U. S. Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, State of Utah, and Red Butte Gardens.
