Cooperative Agreement for CESU-affiliated Partner with Desert Southwest Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit

The US Geological Survey is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU partner for research to advance large-scale physically based hydrologic simulators and associated machine learning emulators.

The objective of the agreement is to advance Water Mission Area’s (WMA) physically based hydrologic


modeling capabilities, and to advance our capability to develop machine learning model emulators of these models.

The work will contribute to our national and river basin modeling efforts.
