These types of domestic* organizations may apply: Public institutions of higher education.

Private institutions of higher education.

Nonprofits with or without a 501(c)(3) IRS status.

For-profit organizations, including small businesses.

State, county, city, township, and special district governments, including the District of Columbia, domestic territories, and the freely associated states.

Independent school districts.

Native American tribal governments.

Native American tribal organizations.

* Domestic means the 50 states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, Guam, the U. S. Virgin Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, or the Republic of Palau.

Individuals are not eligible applicants under this NOFO.

A Gilesgate-based shop and community facility, Hexham’s Core Music, launches a separate workshop where up to six people will be trained how to repair guitars and make ukuleles. The European Social Fund grant supported the project and has secured funds through the County Durham Communication Foundation to equip the workshop in Burn Lane.
