Center for Marine Resources and Environmental Technology (CMRET) Gas Hydrates Research Program

This announcement provides instructions and guidance to the Center for Marine Resources and Environmental Technology (CMRET) at the University of Mississippi only to apply for funds for gas hydrate research to be conducted by the Center in the FY 2009 appropriations for the MMS.

The proposed

work is for the further development and testing of a permanent gas hydrates observatory located in the Gulf of Mexico on Mississippi Canyon Block MC-118 in approximately 2,700 feet of water.
