2017 Partnerships for Implementing Hawaiian Monk Seal Species in the Spotlight Priority Recovery Actions

The National Marine Fisheries Service (hereinafter, "NMFS") is soliciting competitive applications for the fiscal year 2017 Partnerships for Hawaiian Monk Seal Species in the Spotlight Priority Recovery Actions.

Projects are being solicited to support specific programmatic activities related to


1) detecting and preventing disease-related mortality, 2) development and implementation of a strategic communications plan and social marketing strategy, and 3) encouraging citizen science in the main Hawaiian Islands.
