Traditional Trades Youth Initiative FY17

The objective of this task agreement is to support and stimulate preservation trades work, as well as promote education and training opportunities for young adults, with a focus on serving Latina/o communities, through collaborative, apprentice-style experiences in the restoration and rehabilitation

of cultural resources.

The purpose of this agreement is to introduce young adults to cultural resource stewardship and preservation work in a carefully supervised environment through hands-on work experience with skilled craftspeople of the National Park Service.

The work completed through this agreement will be in service to public lands to be utilized and enjoyed for current and future generations.
